Victorian Forget me Not Locket

Engraved locket back and front with polychrome enamel* image of blue forget-me-not flowers and the saying "Forget Me Not", fashioned in 9k B & F, suspended from an 18 inch, 10k chain. Circa 1880. *Although vitreous enamel forms a hard, durable surface, it is susceptible to chipping and breaking upon impact.
