Edwardian Demantoid & Pearl Heart & Snake Necklace

Centering a heart set with six round faceted demantoid garnets measuring approx. 2.8mm, framed by half pearls measuring approx. 2.5mm. Suspended from links depicting four snakes, each suspending a heart, all set with half pearls ranging from 1-2mm. With a flower set with a half drilled pearl measuring approx. 3.8mm, framed by half pearls measuring approx. 2.5mm. On a chain with elongated links with hercules link stations, fashioned in 14k yellow gold. Stamped "14K". Circa 1890.
